With HomeByMe you get to play the role of home/interior designer. HomeByMe uses the latest 3D technologies, that let you easily create detailed floor plans, test different types of furniture, play with thousands of decorative elements, and experience virtual immersion in building a home.

How to Begin:
1. Watch this video tutorial on how to use HomeByMe. When finished, make your account and practice!
2. Go to the Home By Me website. Click on Sign Up Free |
Here are more specific tutorials you can watch if you get stuck. You can also use the built in help feature. |
4. When you feel comfortable working with HomeByMe, read the assignment below and begin.
Assignment:
Choose a client from the list below. The clients have specific needs and design challenges. Read their needs carefully. Design a unique house that addresses the specific needs of your client.
- Room sizes need to be realistic. You might have to do some research on real room sizes!
- Floor plan should show adequate furniture, doors, and windows.
- Rooms should be labelled as to what they are!
- Colors/textures for wall, furniture, accessories and flooring are pleasing to the eye.
- Make sure you pay attention to scale!
